Experience

Katie is a dedicated brand consultant who helps her clients build brands through intelligent marketing communication. She works very closely with each client to understand their end goal and offers a 360 all-encompassing support. Her broad exposure across several of the industry’s leading luxury brands has enabled Katie to cultivate a unique and diverse range of skills.

Having gained an incredibly impressive track record during her 22 years in the global fashion industry, she now applies her skill sets to supporting brands through positioning and growing a business. Previous, in-house corporate roles include Global Head of Communications for Reiss, Global Head of PR & Marketing for Nicole Farhi and Global Public Relations Director for Jimmy Choo.

After graduating from the University of the Arts London, Katie began her career as a stylist, cultivating a reputation as a highly sought-after freelance stylist for leading magazines including I-D, Vogue Italia and Dazed and Confused.

Next, Katie made her move into communications, working first at Giorgio Armani in London before joining Louis Vuitton, in 2009. She was then headhunted by numerous brands in the years to follow and her career in marketing accelerated.

Born and bred in London, UK, Katie has also lived and worked in Los Angeles and New York, valuable international exposure that has equipped her with a strong understanding of those US markets and their requirements. Katie has also acquired a comprehensive understanding of global retail markets and the importance of their cultural needs.

In 2018, Katie decided to take her impressive background and dedicate her time to consulting and her passion for growing independent brands. She lives and works remotely.

I love to travel and work with brands that are in the hub of environmental practices from marine conservationists or lifestyle brands with ethical practices, I work for passion, for brands that I can be passionate about, however big or small. Brands that believe in their innovation in business and that look to have sustainable development partnerships. My personal key interests are to drive change towards a more responsible, inclusive, and sustainable growth within brand values. I am always looking out for new businesses that are passionate about taking positive action to make a change.
